Bass Stands for Double bass..

I know of a few kinds out there. One is the Ingles and another brand like it, Glasser. Also, I have a couple of the older type infamous Hamilton stands.

So, what say ye all? I need 5 or 6 stands for the upcoming ISB show. Which ones would you recommend?

I have the Ingles stand and am not a great fan, especially if you are going to have people walking around in close proximity (which given the basses you have is most likely).
May be its the way my bulk makes the floor move:confused:.
I like the look of the KC strings chair and stand combined but have no experience.

Every bass on our showroom floor is in an Ingles stand and we've never had a single incident. The foam on the arms wears out eventually, but you can get the high density foam pipe wrap from Home Depot that works great as an upgrade when it does (or just start out with it from the beginning for your nice old basses).
