I have a question on a 2000 Ken Smith BSR5GN, I know some one got one for sale but I don't know if the price is right. He got it for sale for $3200 it looks good. Do you think the price is good or is too high????

If the bass is in excellent to mint condition, unaltered and no issues, then it could be a decent deal.

The bass is in mint condition, no issue what so ever, no ding or scratches

what woods would make the difference...

for not much more you can get a new one I believe...

I got a 6 string BSR6GN for around that price, but it was pretty beat up..

what woods would make the difference...Different grades, different pricing. Different woods, different sound.

for not much more you can get a new one I believe...You might want to check the pricing for a new one with the 5pc. body wing upgrade.

I got a 6 string BSR6GN for around that price, but it was pretty beat up.. Depending on how bad it was "beat up", you may have paid too much. It's all relative depending on what you are looking for in a bass for a given price.
Certainly nothing wrong with purchasing a new one. Give Ken a ringy dingy. :)

I paid 2700 for it...Not quite $3.2k. That's sounds like a reasonable price on the surface. :)
