the guy is actually the first that got my attention on the whole flashy slappy technique, he has only one album feauture on itunes, he has a duet that he did with Patitucci on one of his albums, and they both play their Smiths its simple beautiful man, peace.

Yes, I am sure now but had to ask. We had this same request a few months ago and made a bass for another player with the same specs and model. I think it is a BT6EG (the model it would be now) with Quilted Maple top and back with mahogany core.

Just call me at the office or email me there and we can get started on a 2010 model version of that same bass.

Reggie was the reason I also wanted a Smith for many years. That thing is so warm and growly low down - very unique.

Yeah Allan that sound is amazing, when i first start listening to Reggie i didnt know it was a smith, i was new to the bass world, ive always been a drummer, but His sound is amazing we have to put in consideration the role his technique , feel & style has to do with the sound, but I'll definetly would love to have a smith with the same specs, hopefuly later this year ill get another S ill stick with my bsr5mw for now peace!

Is this the same wood or similar that will be in the White Tiger model?

Quilt is Quilt and Tiger is Tiger. Hence, the Tiger series. Quilt is bubbles and Tiger is stripes. The exact bass with quilt would be a different named model with all other specs the same. Quilt is also softer wood, different sound.

I like how Reggie plays this song. It's like a well balanced meal.

To me, it starts out with desert, then comes some meat and potatoes, and finally ending with some wholesome complimenting chords (vegetables).

I am so tempted to order a bass with Reggie Youngs specs.
