Hi, I am a luthier specialising in double basses and based in the uk. I would love some feedback on what you think of my new website.

Nice looking instruments - maybe bigger images and more detail photos would be nice? I like the white background and overall clean layout.

Also, some of the formatting is wonky in Safari...

Adrian I really liked your site. It was simple to find my way around. Your basses are very beautiful. Thank you.

Fantasic looking basses and the site works well. Good luck with your buisness.
Where are you based?
Cheers Geoff

I would agree that a town name or region where the shop is located would likely be a good thing, but I understand why he wouldn't necessarily put a street address on his website; my studio doesn't have one listed either.

Hi Adrian,

I really enjoyed looking at your work. Thank you for sharing it.

Since you asked, I would like to see:
- larger photos of the basses
- more photos, of other angles of the instruments, including scroll shots
- full measurements of the basses; rib depth, bout widths, body lengths, etc.

Thanks again for making such lovely work, then sharing it with us!

Hi, Thanks for all your feeback on my site. Glad that you like my work. I will be posting lots more photos and tables of measurements. You may have to bear with me a while. Should be doing some more photos in a couple of weeks time. I am hoping that in a month or so I shall have a couple of older instruments that I have repaired listed for sale.

Many thanks again to all:)

Commercial users cannot use the Forum for sales. You have gone pretty far as it is.

Adrian, am I going blind or what?
It's a great site, great looking basses, but bigger pictures would be most welcome.
I'd certainly love to hear those basses!

Hi to all. Happy new year. As requested I have now put just a few more photos of the 4 and 5 string Panormo models on my website. They are at the bottom of the pages you have already seen. I have taken quarter views of the fronts and backs and focussed in on the main body of the instruments. I will be doing more shots when I get the time.

Adrian, are you related to the people who made the Vickers Viscount?

I'm afraid not. Maybe distantly. I'm also not related to the people that make the Vickers Aquamatic. That one is a supersize automatic car wash for trains.:)
