I would like change my 705 Pick ups
Any suggestion?
What s the defference in sound between a Seymour and a Bartolini
I heard that the bartos make no more "clacking" noise when slapping on the B string. Correct??
Thanks

Why would you want to change out the stock P/U's?

When slapping the Bstring, i have a nasty "plop"
And Ive heard thet the reason is the "bad" PU
And the "output"level is a little bit low
Thx

Not necessarily. I'm not buying that it is a bad P/U.
Here's a couple possibilities why you may have this issue:
1. Maybe it is related to your technique
- Where on the bass are you slapping the strings and how aggressive are you when slapping?
2. Maybe the P/U's are adjusted to close to the strings.
- Depending on what you discover from 1 above, maybe you need to adjust the P/U's accordingly.
3. Depending on what you discover from 1 and 2 above, maybe you need to adjust your output gain (if applicable) on your bass to better match that to your amp.
Consider the above before you throw your money away! ;)
