i do not know much about this bass, i haven't played yet.
i do know that i love KSB's, i try a few them on my friend Fernando Bicho house and fall easily in love for this basses,so i start looking to afford one that fits on my playing,i do prefer 4strings.if anyone tell me anything about this model i'll apreciate :)

Maybe Ken will chime in. I know the serial number is important
to find information about the build date and other important stuff.
BTW, welcome!

CR4M, Swamp ash wings with walnut center. the rest is on the 'M' page but this is the older 9v BT (of the BMT) circuit without the midrange control which can be added. Then, it was an option. The date is inside the back plate. http://www.kensmithbasses.com/models/custombolton/bsrcrm.htm
