In one word, unbelievable. No hype, this bass does it
all. Just Received my BSR6MS. The playability is just
incredible. 18mm bridge spacing is just perfect. For those
of you out there that are thinking of getting one, you won't
regret it for a minute. The preamp setup allows you to pretty
much dial in any tone you want, probably more than you'll
ever need. The wood working is in a class all by itself.

I will say this, American quality lives and breathes in this
instrument. To Mr. Smith and all the talented folks in the
shop, I cannot fully express my happiness with this instrument.
Thank you all for your dedication and perseverance to bringing
such an incredible instrument to fruition.

No hype here. This bass is the real deal.

Thank you and Aloha,

Steve

Congratulations:p. Acquisition of the first Ken Smith BASS.

Joy of Steven reaches it from the post.

When I obtained first Smith, I never separated it from a hand. I played it, and it was repetition that it looked.
I feel the feelings for the Bass of Ken such as the Japanese sword KATANA.

………However, I am not a samurai.

Please post up image.

Hope this works. Camera phone might not be the greatest. Haven't been able to put it down since I got
it. MM Sterling 5 has been sitting in the case for a while now. LOL

The comfort level of the Smith 6 is way better than I thought it would be. The 18mm spacing at the bridge
is a perfect compromise. I have a 35" scale 6, but I am now under the impression that the scale length
is meaningless. Here we have a 34" scale instrument with a low B that literally shakes the walls while at
the same time has excellent clarity. On the left hand side of things, very comfortable. I really took a chance
on spending money on an instrument I have never played before. I am very happy, more like ecstatic.
