Hi, this could be the right place as we only have two sections, Handmade (by us) and KSD which is another company using our designs and importing basses. The Burner however is in the middle. It is our own copy we had made in Japan with some work done here before and after that we sold worldwide.

Your bass is an early one with the older Circuit from Japan. In late 1992 we started putting our new 4-knob BT circuit in that was the 4 of the 5-knob BMT model. A few of those have been modified to the 3-band EQ since. Also, your bass was the Deluxe model, 2nd model of 4 we made then. Swamp ash body and 3-pc maple neck.

Please read this link and if you have any further questions, just ask; http://www.kensmithbasses.com/models/bsrb/bsrb.html

Looks exactly like mine, my serial # is 93981DA5, it has the same 4 knob layout.

Burner 5 (http://lvs.net/pbass/basses/93smith/index.html)

Enjoy.
