Hi there,
I'm about to buy a used lefty CR5 built in 93.
Is it normal to have the 2-3 configuration for the tuning pegs?
i do have a 6 strings but this doesn't tell me about the 5 strings ;-)
Thanks in advance

With Lefty basses it can be anything as some were 2/3 and some 3/2 depending on which way they tuned the bass as some did tune and play it Righty and some also wanted the Righty head 3/2 but tuned Lefty. Now, it is 2/3 (or 3/2 for lefty) for all 5s, 2 on the bass side for a 5, the B and E and 2 treble A, D and G. That is the new standard now for nearly 10 years.

Ok thank you. I haven't seen many of those even on pics so I just wanted to make sure it was leigit.
I did buy the bass tonight, so hopefully it will be in good shape when I'll get it.
Thank you very much,
Sylvain

hello Ken,
The bass I bought came without the BT preamp….damn it.
Is it possible to buy the side mount model from you?
Thanks,
Sylvain
