Looking for help with active & passive controls

Hello,

I've recently purchased a Ken Smith BSR4EG.

I'm looking for some help with adjusting the active and passive sound.. is there some documentation on how to operate these? I've found a few settings I like but I don't feel like I fully understand how they operate and what controls what.
