Could anyone tell me a little about this bass? I was thinking of purchasing it, but i have no idea what the value might be. I've added a few pics.
Thanks in advance.

Ray,

Check out the link to KSB below. This will take you to much of the info you need on this bass. ;)

This looks like the one currently on eBay. Given that: With the disclosed crack in the peg-head (at the B-String Tuner) and depending on severity (see pic...it looks bad...this makes me a bit leary), I'd be surprised if it sells for more than $1k (and without a case). That peg-head/tuning peg must have taken a pretty bad hit to crack it like that. That's too bad, because otherwise it looks like a nice bass.

On the other hand, if the crack is fixable, this could be a great buy at $1k. Of course, the cost of a professional repair (if needed) may be a factor as well. At any rate, you won't know what you have until the bass is in your hands to play. ;)

Another thing that bothers me about this is that the seller said he "owned it since 2003"??? The serial number indicates 2006 (see the 06 at the end of the serial number). Ken may need to verify/explain this further.
