I made this recording (http://www.doublebassblog.org/2007/07/virtual-master-class-track-beethoven-9_30.html) of the Beethoven 9 recitative right after Mike started this thread a couple of months ago, then found out the file was too big to upload. I sent it to Jason Heath's virtual master class instead (which is an excellent resource you guys should use, too).

(Oh, Ken - this was played on the Shen Willow detailed in the Chinese Bass thread (http://www.smithbassforums.com/showthread.php?t=147)- I was still using all Pirastro Permanent strings, with a Gollihur Chinese/German bow with black hair and Carlsson's rosin)
