KDSj 705 Battery Compartment

I have a very nice KSDj 705, on which I had the pre amp and pick ups swapped. the sound is out of this world. Anyway my only concern is the battery compartment, the hinges were broken when I received the bass and I would like to know if there is anywhere I may obtain a replacement ?? I tried contacting the folks at Brooklyn Gear , but to no avail.Can someone please asist me??
