- I play with Orchestra London, Stratford Civic Orchestra and Light of East Ensemble.
Plus I play lots of educational shows in our school board.
I also play the occational solo at church.
I studied with Lena Turofsky - Symphony Nova Scotia; Tom Monohan - Toronto Symphony Orchestra; Ed Tait - TSO and John Gowan - TSO. I also attended the National Youth Orchestra od Canada and studied with THorveld Fredin - Stockholm Opera. Plus a few lessons with Joel Quarrington - Location

- To support my musical addiction, I supply teach in the local schools plus teach guitar and bass privately.
I was disabled in my arms for about 10 years and totally gave up playing. I was cured by lots of Chiropractic adjustments. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT! - Your Gear
- I play a Peter Chandler bass mad in 2000. It is modeled on a bass by William Tarr. (see plans here: http://www.violins.on.ca/books/plans/tarr.gif )
I use a Ken Smith Tecchler German Bow with black hair and Kolstien soft rosin.
I presently use Thomastic Dominants but in the future I'm going to try Kolstien Heritage strings.
I've cut the wings off my bridge to get a louder, more accurate sound.
I play with a low-D tuning with a short extension to get the low-C (see this discussion of Talkbass for more info: http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.php?t=245239&highlight=alternate )
