- Musical Background
- I'm a music teacher in the public schools somewhere in New York State. I am very proud to teach kids who wouldn't otherwise have the chance to play stringed instruments and direct them in their first orchestras.
I studied performance at Berklee (playing slab and gradually switching to DB), worked semi-professionally for a few years in jazz/commercial music situations, and promptly stopped playing. Have started again on a serious amateur/semi-professional level for the last few years, and am having a great time of it.
I play a Shen Willow (3/4 size flatback), and play with a German bow. - Location

- I love learning about education and pedagogy. I recently became involved with the Suzuki Association, and am an advocate of Suzuki Methodology.
