    Additional Information
To support my musical addiction, I supply teach in the local schools plus teach guitar and bass privately.

I was disabled in my arms for about 10 years and totally gave up playing. I was cured by lots of Chiropractic adjustments. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!
    Your Gear
I play a Peter Chandler bass mad in 2000. It is modeled on a bass by William Tarr. (see plans here: http://www.violins.on.ca/books/plans/tarr.gif )

I use a Ken Smith Tecchler German Bow with black hair and Kolstien soft rosin.

I presently use Thomastic Dominants but in the future I'm going to try Kolstien Heritage strings.

I've cut the wings off my bridge to get a louder, more accurate sound.

I play with a low-D tuning with a short extension to get the low-C (see this discussion of Talkbass for more info: http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.php?t=245239&highlight=alternate )
