Thanx Tim :)

For practice i use a Hartke HA5000 amp with a Hartke 115TP cabinet (on small room) or Hartke 215XL cabinet (on a large room).

For live (on stage) i use an aguilar DB680 preamp, aguilar DB 728 amplifier with two aguilar GS 410 cabs

and also (sometimes) i use a Line6 Bass Pod preamp and always a Xotic Bass RC Booster (on stage) :)

Sorry guys if i have a mistake, my english is not too good :(

Greetings from Mexico!:)

Nice wood on that one. Hard to believe that bass is over 20 years old now isn't it?

Bob Faulkner 03-28-2008 12:21 PM

very nice.. that chocolate stripe running up the fingerboard is dead sexy!

Michael Wilson 03-28-2008 06:02 PM

Thanks

Thanks Bob, i have not seen too many of Kens basses with that type of fretboard, but you really need to hear this bass, unreal tone. I took it to the Guitar Center here in NY to get it fitted for a gig bag. One of the sales cats asked me to plug it in and the whole store stopped what they were doing to find out where that sound was coming from. The store manager wanted to buy the bass, but i looked at him like he was a MAD MAN. Its a 91 BT6.

I have played and own many Smith basses, but for some reason, this bass sounds a little tighter and crisper than my other Smith basses, but you are right Bob, all my Smith basses sound great.
