Hard to tell exactly from the picture. Either Walnut or Mahogany.

yeahn looks like walnut to me... but still awesome!

Know three others owned by fellow bassplayers over here (a -90 BT5, BSR5EG and another BSR6GN).
Seen one other for sale through the years (yet another BSR6).

Time went by and I grew older... and too little time playing my Smith bass. Wish I could work less with TV production and more with music. Otherwise life is great...

Where did you get yours? I got my BSR6GN at West LA Music when I was there visiting my brother.

I bought it from a guy in Finland who I know bought it from one in England. How it got to England in the first place I don't know. :)

Here is my CR-6. The serial number is CR6MQ51296.

It has been upgraded with the 18V KS preamp.

The letter Q in the serial means something or is just part of the serial number?
