Latest Reputation Received

Hey Mike (or anyone else) -

What does "Reputation" refer to in the user CP? Apparently, someone gave me a positive referral, increasing my reputation score - lucky me. I would have to assume it was Richard, except I can't believe he would have figured out how to do something like that unless he got his brother to do it for him. (well, one has to assume, right, Richard?)

HOw do we go about increasing each other's reputation scores? What do we win?

Once we learn how, we can all live in fear of someone else "destroying your reputation"

See Mikes Thread...

When you open your user CP, there's a little notice that says someone added a reputation comment. I thnk it's anonymous. So, have at it, gentlemen.

Brian Gencarelli 03-28-2007 08:20 AM

Stan,

We all know that you must have an alias that you are using to give "rep points" to yourself... ;)

Too bad they don't have this feature at the other place...

Brian

What do you mean - the ability to sign in under an alias and trash people's reputation?

Tim Bishop 03-28-2007 09:13 AM

I see it....

No... it would be nice to let people know that certain users at TB are full of it, mainly. That they are trolls, etc...

Nice to see that can't happen here.:D

Brian, can you please increase my reputation. I've always wanted to feel popular.
I'll do yours now as a swap. Here goes...

Richard Prowse 03-28-2007 03:15 PM

Hey Stan! It appears that I have given you some reputation! I must have been drinking chardonnay that night because I forgot all about it! oops!

stan haskins 03-28-2007 04:15 PM

Wine makes you smart, huh?

Well, Richard, I would give you some more reputation, but the machine is telling me I have to spread it around before I give you more.

Who wants some?

Richard Prowse 03-28-2007 05:05 PM

What about Tim? I'll give him one now.

Steve_M 03-29-2007 05:51 PM

Its great to see the rep system working so well ;)

Richard Prowse 03-29-2007 08:57 PM

When is your picture going to change Steve?

Steve_M 03-30-2007 03:22 AM

Ken didn't like the jumping kiwi - it made his eyes hurt. This was the only one left!

Ken Smith 03-30-2007 08:54 AM

Yes, not my favorite hat but beats a smoking monkey and a jumping bird..

Reputation? What is this stuff here my son Mike set-up?

Ever head the expression; "He had a Reputation"!

Never means anything good especially when you hear;
"SHE has a Reputation"...

Anyway, have I gotten any vote for this thing yet? I know 'I' have a reputation but for what I still haven't found out..lol

Ken Smith 03-30-2007 08:57 AM

hat..

Ok ok.. got it.. That's a kid being scolded in School put in the corner wearing a 'Dunce cap' for doing something bad or stupid.

stan haskins 03-30-2007 09:41 AM

Lol!

You got it :D

Richard Prowse 03-30-2007 04:08 PM

I'll bump Ken's reputation up one for getting the 'dunce hat' thing fairly quickly.
But the eternal question must be:
Can you brag about a reputation that is supported by me?

Richard Prowse 03-30-2007 05:45 PM

This is an urgent call. I desperately need some more reputation points. Just click on the little 'scales' thing on any of my posts. Please hurry.

Steve_M 04-01-2007 02:45 AM

You're desperate?

Negative rep

I gave Robert some negative feedback after I figured out that he doesn't play bass. It doesn't seem to mean anything though, He's still "on a distinguished road" . . .

DId you notice, Robert?

I tried to give you one for picking on my little (well, actually quite old) brother, but I couldn't do it. You're lucky I'm stupid!
