Hello...from a new member
 

Hello, everyone. I'm new here...

but not new to the bass. I started playing the bass in high school, over 40 years ago. I studied with William Rhein, former ass't principal of the Boston Symphony, while at Boston Conservatory. I've been a middle school band, orchestra, and general music teacher for 32 years, as weil as a piano tuner. I play in the Boston Civic Symphony on my newly restored 1870s era Czech bass, and like to program recitals at my local library.
