I met him many years ago in NY. We exchanged gifts down at NYU where I think he was teaching. He gave me a copy of his Book and I gave him my Music Minus One records/books that were recently completed. That had to be in the early '70s. I just can't recall where we first met. He must have lived a long life because he was middle aged then.
