Sue Lipkins!

Sue took a coveted Gold medal for her bass bow in the VSA makers competition. In my humble opinion, Sue is among a handful of the finest bass bow makers on the planet. When I spoke to her last week, she was cramming to get the bow finished, and was worried about making the deadline. I guess it worked out. Well done old friend!

Having played her bows for many years now, I can say she is the best bass-bow maker bow-to-bow around today. Way to go Sue!

I have only played Ken's "Ode to Sartory." It was the only time in my life that it felt as if a bass was playing itself...an amazing experience I am still energized from, two years later. I can only hope to own a Lipkins, bow, one day.

Congratulations, Sue Lipkins!
