Hello from Australia

Hi there,
I've been following alot of posts here and thought I may as well join in. I play electric bass and have taken up double bass again after a long break from it. I play various styles in 4 bands that play my original music. I am also an audio engineer and hope that i can help out with suggestions on the recording end.

Cheers

Wagga Wagga? What an interesting name. Sounds like something a dog would do. :)
I'm in Lower Hutt.
Actually, that's a funny name too.
It's called that because there is a place nearby called Upper Hutt.
I'm a double bass player.
Bin

Bin Hire is an interesting name too! What are your rates? (I'm sure I'm not the first person to ask you that)

Yes. At secondary school I was originally called Badi al Zaman. That of course is my real name but no one seemed to be able to say it right. So I decided to use Bin, a name my family calls me. At this stage my English was not very good and I didn't get the connection. I wondered why the other students laughed when my name was read out in class.
Translation can lead to good jokes, yes?
