Hi, all

I just got my bass back from the luthier after restoration.
But, just wonder, What bass I have here.
Probably, it might be a French bass.

Any Kindly helps to identify one
Thank you so much

To me, it looks French from c.1900. I just sold a similar looking bass. Have a look; http://www.kensmithbasses.com/doublebasses/mangenot/

When you get to the c.1900 Gamba shaped basses, the differences between German and French are not that far. Most German basses from that period will have outer linings. The scroll and Gears are French but the back cut looks it as well.

Here is a French style German bass I had recently that was sold as German at first and then a few years later, sold again as French. Possibly because the dealer thought he could get away with the Lie and make more money on the bass. It sounded just as good regardless of the country of origin.
