It IS a french bass, for sure. But, so many makers made nearly the same model so it becomes difficult to tell.

145 grams. I prefer a bit lighter.. lol

Well, that is later then my bass of course but still would be nice if it was a collection for display. But, the bass is by John Hart and the bow was made FOR Hart & Son so not quite a pair unless both were made by the same person. There is a full generation in time between the Bass being made and the Bow plus it's not made by a Hart family member.

My Birthday just passed. Be a good guy and go Buy it for me. I will forever be grateful. ;)

ok, i promised to send you the tubbs as a birthday-present.
it arrived today but unfortunately i sat on it while it was lying on the sofa.
what a pity.
i think i will use it as a growth support in a flowerpot now.

Lol.. My Hart bass will just have to learn to live with disappointment. :(:(
