Adolf Schuster

Does anyone have any information about the maker Adolf Schuster? I've been trying one that I like quite a bit, and am curious as to the pedigree of his bass bows, and the price that they normally sell for.

Thanks so much!

A REAL Adolf Kurt Schuster Bow (b.1890, d.1947)? Do you have pictures of this Bow to show me? How much is the asking price? This is a professional Bow or a student bow?

Does this Bow have Papers with it from a shop other than the one selling the Bow?

If authentic, it would have to be a minimum of about 65 years old. It would be along the lines of an old Pfretzschner style/school bow as he trained with one of them and another well known maker as well about 80-100 years ago.

It's a bow that my teacher currently owns. He said it would be a good fit for my instrument. Here are some pictures.
Sorry for not hosting the pictures I just took through your forum, but I wanted them to maintain their resolution.

I think that this should be sufficient!

Edit: Sorry for the blurry picture. I think there's only 1 blurry one.

ok..

Good looking old bow. I personally would not know if it's authentic but coming from your Teacher I am sure he knows what he has. I would go for it personally if the price was right for the performance. I don't know the values of the old German made French Bows but this maker comes with high marks.

Thanks for the information. It's a nice bow. I never would have known it was that old from holding it in my hand.
