I just wan to know if the PU of expessives ken smith basses are quad coil or dual coil, thank you all

All the Smith Soapbar Pickups are dual coil pickups. The same Pickups designed and made since 1982. These are use on all handmade Smith Basses with the exception of the JJ models.

But in sound, what is de real diferent between quad an dual coil, I'm tryin decide wich one I'm going to instal in my bass as replacement of the originals PUs

Is this a USA made Smith Bass with Soapbar pickups you have now?

It is not clear what Bass you are talking about.

I don't know anything about quad coil pickups, sorry.

I wish a USA hand made ken smith bass but y don't have enougth money, by now I have a hand made bass made in Venezuela "UTRERA", I changed the electronic and I'm very happy with it, but I'm trying to deside what pickups to instal
