Hey Ken,

I was wondering if you could tell me about my bass? I think it's an early to mid 20th century carved German shop bass but I'm going off of what others have said. Anything you can decipher would be greatly appreciated!

I think early to mid 20th century is close. It looks more mid to me than early but condition is not always the only way to tell. Nice looking bass regardless.

Thanks for the reply! Does the German and shop bass part sound right as well?

Possibly. Does not look like an individual handmade bass so probably something commercial is my guess.
