Smith basses meet with approval at UK Bass meet
 

We had our 6 monthly Bassworld meet up on Saturday and I took my BSR5GN and BSR6GN along (amongst other basses I have).

This was pretty much the first time many had ever seen a Smith bass in the flesh, let alone played one. That's the objective of having these meet ups. People get to play each others instruments and amps, where normally they wouldn't live near a music store stocking them.

The Smith BSR5GN in particular met with widespread approval. Next time I will bring the two 5's because I think many were a little intimidated by the BSR6GN! :D
