My son Jon was called by a producer he's worked for in the past for a TV show the other day (June 2, '14) to back-up teen sensation 'Birdy' on the 'Today Show' (NBC) playing 'Tee Shirt', a song from a new movie just coming out. Jon was using his BSR 5M walnut bass. Nothing fancy, just a standard 'M' model 5er. He didn't use the 'B' string at all but that's the bass he took to NY for the rehearsal the day before so he just played note for note was was on the recording including the short tasteful solo at the end. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dyvlO7cM5g0
