Hi from center Italy...

Hi: my name is Virgilio Venditti and I live in Avezzano, a little town in center of Italy, 100 km from Rome (you know, the place we set up for tourists years ago...). Glad to be here! I don't actually know if I am entitled "in full": I only have a Burner5 :-) V.

God bless you!!!

I don't think it matters what you own Virgilio. I am new here also. I joined weeks before I bought my first Smith bass. I saw that everyone here is most helpful and very friendly. I have also recently discovered that owning a Smith bass is addictive. I'm trying to figure out how I can aquire the finances to purchase a second BSR for a backup.

Ciao, Gianluca: I am just amazed at how good this bass sounds!!! It is a simple bolt-on Burner from '91 and it just delivers the good sound you expect from the highly respected name it carries on the headstock!!! :) I would just like to find me the standard black pot knobs (they were replaced somewhere along the road with the chrome tele ones). Anybody willing to help?

Craig, I would actually be happy to have a BSR as a... main and my Burner as a backup!!! :)
