tuning pegs

Hello all,

Here's a question for Ken or anyone who wants to pitch in.

DR FUNK has just sold a beautiful 5MW, on TalkBass, which has something on it that mine also has. This is a slightly mis-aligned A string tuning peg. It seem to be angled just a bit toward the top of the neck.

Anyone?

Kirk

Picture maybe? Please? With 5 tuners and a contoured head, there is no such thing as aligned. We do it by eye and no two basses are perfectly alike.

You would know if one is physically bent or mis-shaped...

one of mine is slightly on my BMT6EG, and you can see one of the plastic bushings in between the washers is cracked...

Post a pic...
