Here are some pics and measurements of the Dolling bass (in restoration).

Having just come in from Europe, to ensure a healthy life here in USA we have decided to open up the bass and clean up some old repairs, hence a restoration. The 'Dölling' will also get a KS/USA style set-up like all the other double basses in the racks in our showroom.

The final work will include fingerboard dressing or replacement, new bridge with adjusters, new tailwire with adjustable clamp and new endpin at the least. When it returns it will be ready for professional use.

Measurements:
String Length; 41 3/4"
Top/Back Length; 44 3/4" top, 45" back
Upper Bout; 21 1/8"
Middle Bout; 15 1/8"
Lower Bout; 28 1/4"
Ribs (not including plates); 8 1/2", 5" at neck
