Strawinsky's Firebird..

Ok, who out there has played the Firebird and, and, played all of the low notes as written in the beginning?

If you have, did you do it by playing it with a ..? (see poll)

Note: I am playing it in February and would like to know who did what and how it went. I don't have all 4 options currently but plan to in the future. For now, tuning down is a mental pain as compared to a chromatic extension. These two choices I have just tried. Those with only a 4-string and no extension would have to tune down. I am playing the top part of the divisi as it gets split a few ways.
