happy valentines day?

just wishing everybody a happy valentines day for the REAL ladies in all of our lives- our basses!...my bass is named sumatra- anybody wish to share the names of their ladies (or for some of you pimps out there, their favorite lady)?

USA Custom Guitars and I made a Jazz bass style slab with a gorgeous spalted /flamed maple top. I named it Peanut. Not sure if it's female.

I considered naming my DB Diann because I enjoy playing it so much, but I don't want my wife to think I see any physical resemblance. :o

Ok, here's my favorite at the moment and NO, I am not Pimping her out!

Not sure if I like her better from the front or the rear view. Small top, medium bottom, nice smoooth curved with no sharp edges anywhere..

On, and nice head!

But she's starting to show some signs of aging.

She's starting to crack up. Might have to find her a special doctor.

I can't look her in the face and tell here we're splitting up either. She looks so serious.

My lady Ivana

Well Ken, your "lady" certainly has some nice curves there. My "lady" is nicknamed Ivanova, after Ivan Georgiev, the shop master at Kremona-Bulgaria, who signed her neck block. Here's some photos of me and Ivanova on some of our dates:http://the5thsundays.tripod.com/id14.html

Nice bass, and I really like your front porch, too.

Sometimes I weep when I read this thread.
