What do you guys/gals use to clean and oil your fretboard when needed? :confused:

If dirty, use white ' 3M (or similar) scotch brite' pads that work like steel wool without the mess. If using coarser grits like Grey or red, be VERY careful not to scratch any wood and polish up with white when done.

For a generic cheaper way to oil the FB, regular drug store medicinal Mineral oil works as well. Light Machine oil is also ok but use sparingly.

The Smith Classic Wax Polish will clean the FB if used regularly as needed and will lubricate as well as leave some wax on the surface to resist moisture to some degree.
