Greetings from Chile/Boston

Hi Everyone,

I didn't see this thread before, but now I'm going to introduce myself anyway.

I'm a 22 years old bass player from Chile. I received a scholarship to Berklee College of Music and I just bought my first Ken Smith Bass (still haven't been able to put my hands on it. Its waiting for me in Boston!!!). Always a dream to have one, especially living in South America, but now I've accomplished one more dream.

I like playing al styles of music, jazz, fusion, latin music, pop, flamenco, etc. I'll be living and studying in the States for the next 5 years.

If you can drop by www.myspace.com/martinduarte and tell me what you think in this thread. There is jazz, fusion, bossa/pop and some latin folcloric music. There is something for everyone and listen to all the tunes if you can. The bass is not featured that much, but the tunes are some compositions I composed some time ago and recorded in January.

Take Care,

Martin
