yo,

Yo.

Got awfully bored the other day, so I registered here, as well as over at Talkbass. Yes, that's how sad my state is!!

I've studied classicak bass for two years at Gothenburg Uni, Sweden, and am currently on exchange for my third in Tromsö; the very north of Norway. I am actually a friend of that guy Andreas who registered a couple of weeks ago (still owe you for that Gamut string, I know!!) but I didn't realize he had shown up here until just today, after browsing the forum for a few days. Great minds think alike...

Cheers,
/Joel

Welcome to the forum, Joel. Maybe you have noticed some of the "problem" members here, but I wanted to warn you about them anyway. They know who they are. I'm also pretty sure that you are a member of that unfortunate forum group that's not experienced the pleasure of grits, a great Southern states treat. Check out the Bull Pit section for lots of information from a fun segment of the folks on board here.(My friend Richard's favorite head)

Ah, hm. I am not sure I get the grit thing. Grit for me is a grain of sand. After all, I am a foreigner. Anyways, I thought it didn't seem to be much trolling around here. Some silly posting, especially in the Bull Pit, and perhaps some grumpy oldtimer will break your young, enthusiastic balls... that said, everything seems to be in order.

Hi, I know Tromso, way up there. I was touring there couple years ago with Henry Butler and George Kilby Jr. We played festival in Alta, and the keyboards got waylaid on the way to the gig in Stavanger. They ended up in Tromso. The world should actually be a little more like Norway, without the misplaced instruments, of course:D. Beautiful country as is Sweden.

I promise not to touch your basketballs.
