Confused.

This one is for sale in the UK. Does the fretboardrepair effect sound or playability? I've never seen anything like this.:confused:

From fretted to fretless..

In my quest for a fretless Ken Smith, I only come across fretted 4 string BSR basses.
Is it simply possible to convert a fretted into a fretless? Or is there perhaps a difference in the build...

Found a Ken Smith BSR4GNF TW 2008 on the internet. Looks great and in good condition.
But I'm not sure about its pick-ups. Didn't they use to have adjustable pole pieces? :confused:

Dear bassplayers,

I always had a huge soft spot for Ken Smith basses. Great craftsmanship and beautiful instruments!
I'd really like to buy one, but its very very hard to get my hands on one...
