OK. Well I got my TCRML's and I'm gonna give them a try. I'm curious as to whether it's advisable to take all the old strings off first, then put all the new ones on, or change them one at a time.

I'm new to Ken Smith basses, and 6 strings in general, and I've fallen in love with my '87 BT6... but...
The G & C (mostly the C) strings are noticeably quieter and the tone is "thinner" sounding...
