I feel I'm still a bit new to bows, even though I've been playing with one since 1992. I borrowed a bass and a wooden French bow in my time with the Darwin Symphony...

I own a Carbow, but am unsure what you mean by "bright". What do you mean? Wouldn't that be the quality of the hair that gave it "brightness"?
