This bass was identified as English by a London auctioneer , Ive told the owner that this looks typically German in origin - how old do you think the bass may be , or is it too 'generic' to say ...?

Hi Ken , can this bass be anything other than German/Hungarian in origin ?
Non original headstock probably

Could be painted on fake flame . Real flame has a depth/dimension to it that is kind of like a hologram when moved in the light . At least thats in my experience ....

Ruben , don't listen to Ken there is NO way that a bridge of that size would work on any bass that I know of ,not to mention transport costs a custom made case etc etc.

That makes total sense and I just sat the top on the rib assembly and it is a perfect fit :) .I was worried that I may have to cut the ribs down to accommodate the top.
