BSR-5 Elite wide neck measurements

Hi, is the neck of a BSR-5 string (wide) with 19mm string spacing at the bridge much wider than than neck of a BSR-5 with standard 18mm string spacing at the bridge?

Did you have a special reason to choose Redwood for these anniversary basses, Ken? I don't think this wood is very common and was not used much beside this model...
