What first turned me on to Smiths in the 90's was...

What first turned me on to Smiths in the 90's was seeing the beautiful Flamed and Quilted Maple tops.

I still say a 5A Quilted Maple / Flamed Maple top would take the cake...

Well, I just put a set of 6 string T-I's on my BSR6EG (since I recently acquired another 6 Frettless Smith, figured I need one with flats now!)...

Strings fit perfectly, play and sound great!

When I was gigging full time I would change strings the longest once a month on 3 different basses.

Every time you remove and reinstall strings they are going to get...

older ones dont...

but really older ones have the cover... but those are really old...

So I finally got around to playing around with it! It sounds great... Nice to just sit and play without having to hook up my amps...

It really brings out the sound of my P-Bass and Jazz Bass...
