There is no power or sound diference. It is only designed as a secure connection. Most high power amp/cabs recommend using that type of conector to eliminate the possibily of the sound pressure...

Well, I was a bolt on fan for the same reasons as Mr. Michaels stated. However.... I just got a BSR6EG and the difernce is HUGE! Yes, I lost a little attack, but gained smoothness and great depth....

I would say that the main diference in the low mids and lows. The DB is a little less boomy than the 410 Hlf, but more agressive sounding in the low mids. The very low frequencies are there...
