Here's another little honey I found, any thoughts?

This appears to be a Germanic bass with some French influences. It even sounds a little French... Any thoughts on what it is?

Unfortunately, there are no photos of the bass. It did look French to my untrained eye. It was nice but needed extensive repairs.

Yes, I play fiddle tunes on the bass: Irish, Oldtime, Romanian, Klezmer etc.
I also work up slap arrangements of tunes (kind of like clawhammer on the bass) Here are some links to some of my stuff...
