Hi. I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Vince Jesse. I work as luthier in Madison, Wisconsin, mostly on uprights now but I do some guitar work as well.
I took over the business, 'The Double Bass Workshop' from Henry Boehm. He had the shop for about ten years before that so some of you might have had some contact with him. I cut my teeth repairing guitars, then I worked for Henry for several years before he decided out of the blue to become a diesel mechanic. I used to work as a mechanic and machinist so we kind of traded jobs.
