Default Romania basses

Hiya everyone.

Without going into too much details, I started learning to play the double bass in September. I am really enjoying it, much more than when i started electric bass back in mid 2008.

I joined a teaching orchestra in London and started with a hired instrument, it was a half size laminated bass with a cracked bass bar and a too-big canvas case. I decided that in the long run I'd be better off getting my own bass and about 3 weeks ago I bought Roxie from eBay. Roxie was made in Reghin, Romania by MUSIKINSTRUMENTENFABRIK. When the seller delivered to me I was very happy to have found out that she's solid, as opposed to laminated as what the seller had listed. I am so happy with Roxie I went on and bought Lumi two weeks later! Picked her up from Manchester two days ago.

I have some questions, but mainly regarding set up so i will post them in the Luthier's Corner. In the mean time here are some images.

Fire away!!

Cham.
