He was a maker and had a son I believe. There is some connection later on with the first Jacquet either in business or marriage.
Can you be more specific with your question? Pillement is a listed maker, no mystery there. Pere' is or means the father, or head of that family in the makers. Like with Bernardel, the eldest Auguste Sebastien is known as Bernardel Pere'. Pere' is a title perhaps self proclaimed.
It would be called or listed as Pillement Pere'. He worked at Mirecourt but labeled some of his instruments as made in Paris which they say isn't so!
