I'm curious if any of you are fans of higher-end Engelhardt basses and what kind of music do you play. How much nicer are the higher end models? Thanks.
Are the necks on these the same as the Kay Basses that used to be made by the previous company with the grain running in the wrong direction??

Neck-set, Fingerboard and bridge costs to replace and repair properly in a professional bass shop can cost more than the bass itself in the low end market. If the bass is made with less than optimum parts don't expect it will be worth fixing after buying one. It wont. Buy it right the first time.
